Elumena Street Signs is the first on-demand, street sign management system specifically designed to meet the needs of local governments.  Deployed over the web using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, Street Signs does not require the deployment of a large IT infrastructure at the client's location, which eliminates or drastically reduces customers’ upfront investments in software licenses, software upgrades, hardware, and IT support.  Elumena Street Signs is ideal for local municipalities that are looking for a low cost and easy to deploy method to manage their street sign inventory.

 How it Works

Elumena has developed a web-based technology platform that enables local governments to automate their street sign management processes. Deployed over the web using a Software as a Service (SaaS) or “on-demand” model, the software is centrally hosted and managed by Elumena.  Field workers enter updated sign information directly into the system using a PC tablet device connected to the Internet through a wireless connection (WiFi, Cellular).  The software design supports all customers on a single instance of the software.  This simplifies operations and dramatically reduces acquisition, installation, and support costs—meaning smaller governments, can take advantage of the same benefits larger government organizations receive from similar systems by effectively sharing the costs of the software with other organizations. 

• Record comprehensive information for each sign, including location, size, shape, material, condition, MUTCD code, retroreflectivity, cost, specifications, warranty, installation and maintenance history.
• Spatial view of sign inventory is provided by Google® Maps™ enabling users to see signs based on condition, age, etc.
• Ability to export data for reporting and back-up purposes.
• Comply with updated Federal requirements for sign retroreflectivity.
